After a lot of wondering, humming and hawing, I have finally decided that the first-ever album release under the Shadowblink project should begin at the very beginning. Thus, I name thee Ab Ovo – from the egg, from the beginning.
This release is special not only because it is the very first one but also because it contains some of the first tracks I produced on my own; tracks that I am still able to listen to with some amount of pleasure and satisfaction. Given that these tracks were produced in the years 2011 and 2012, there will be a lot of meandering changes as we go forward with future releases. However, the essence of my music remains – emotional, melodic and forever trying to drop that bass! However, as you will hear, it is not exactly bass music.
Maybe someday I will end up producing proper dancefloor bangers. But that day has not yet come. Enjoy the maiden voyage and do read the first chapter of The Story. It will be called The Story until I choose an appropriate name for it. It is the world of Shadowblink, told one tale at a time. It is the alternate reality where I have chosen to place all my imaginations into. It is my private little universe where I lovingly collect and display the fruits of my inspirations, wanderings and meanderings. Each track will be a story eventually. Starting with the very first – Drenched.
