Musings In Isolation

I love the desolate afternoons that remind me of my calm mountain lover.

I love the sound of the birds overtaking the intermittent automobile.

I love that silent feeling of the evening creeping in.

I love the stillness that sets in much before the city has slept.

The smell of fear is lost in the spring blooms.

My sadness has drowned in a lungful of fresh air.
